Individual Therapy
It's Time to Start Feeling Better
Do you feel like life is harder than it needs to be? Maybe your mind is full of questions you can't seem to resolve. From the outside looking in, people always assume you're doing better than you feel. Now you're doubting yourself, feeling stuck and slightly out of control.
Together we will build a trusting relationship, get to the root of the issues, address difficulties, and figure out how to live authentically in all situations.
Questions that often come up in sessions:
How do I make sense of this situation?
How do I handle this pressure from being in the public eye?
What's the point...?
How do I process all these emotions I'm experiencing?
How do I stay true to myself?
How do I let go of my past?
How do I better understand myself and why I'm here?
How do I live authentically when my public image and personal image are conflicting?
Individual therapy is for the person who:
has lost touch with who you are
feels like you do not recognize yourself anymore
is in a relationship and personal adjustments need to be made
feels completely helpless & swallowed by the situation
needs to vent but the people around you don't understand
feels overwhelmed and you're not really sure where to begin

Couples Therapy
The Attention Your Relationship Deserves
Every relationship has its own fingerprint.
Managing one relationship is hard enough on its own. But as a thriving professional, you have to manage multiple. Now it feels like your relationships are playing tug-of-war, with you in the center, and these professional obligations are placing an unflinching strain on your personal relationship. Your partner wants more. Your professional obligations want more. You can feel your relationship slipping right out of your hands. You know this can’t last forever, but you still don’t know where to start. Let’s talk!
Couples therapy is designed to help you find the source of your frustrations, regardless of gender, and create a unique, couples-specific path to healing.
Couples therapy is for the couple who:
struggling to balance relationship needs and professional obligations
has a difficult time resolving conflicts
needs help communicating
wants to identify and resolve unhealthy patterns
is trying to figure out how to reconnect with their partner
needs help deciding if the relationship should continue
How Sessions Flow
Therapy is highly individualized—it depends on what you need. If you come in with a specific concern, we’ll start there. If you’re unsure where to begin, I’ll ask questions about your life, relationships, and experiences, and we’ll naturally find something important to explore.
The first few sessions might feel a little awkward—this is normal! As we get to know each other, our conversations will develop a natural rhythm. Sessions usually begin with a check-in about anything new before shifting into the deeper work. This is sometimes where the emotions come through, but my goal is always to have you leave feeling more understood, having greater capacity, and more equipped to move forward. Laughter and difficult moments often coexist in therapy, and we’ll navigate both together.
Most people find that 55-minute sessions every other week are a great starting point. We might meet more frequently in the beginning and gradually space out sessions as you gain confidence in processing your experiences independently. Therapy is a journey, and while there’s no fixed timeline, the best therapeutic relationships have a beginning, a middle, and an end, allowing you to grow and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
I see adults in Minnesota, 100% telehealth. It is important to note that I do not perform psychological testing, am not able to prescribe medications, and do not write letters or recommendations for family court proceedings involving child custody/visitation, or to establish that a pet qualifies as an Emotional Support Animal.
Some conditions and situations may be beyond the scope of my practice. In such cases I will make referrals to appropriate providers, although you have no obligation to follow up on these recommendations.
